Mahedi Masuduzzaman is currently working with the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance as a Joint Secretary. He also worked in United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as ‘Fiscal Policy Expert’ for three years. Mr. Mahedi completed his Bachelor Degree in Mathematics and MSc in Economics. He attended many professional training courses specialized in Public Financial Management (PFM) and Macroeconomic Policy both at home and abroad. Some of the highlights are Macroeconomic Policy, SOAS University of London, UK; Finance for Macroeconomist, IMF-HQ Training Institute, Washington D.C. USA; Financial Programming and Policies (FPP), Fiscal Analysis and Forecasting and Macro-fiscal Forecasting and Analysis in IMF-Singapore Regional Training Institute, Singapore. His area of interest is PFM, PFM information System, poverty, labor migration, remittance and climate finance. He has different international publications of economics journal articles.
