Muhammad Faruq-uz-Zaman, Deputy Secretary of Finance Division, joined the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) Cadre in 2003. Since joining in the Finance Division in 2017, he is involved in preparation and execution of budget for the Ministry of Agriculture and the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock under the Medium Term Budget Framework (MTBF). He has a master degree in Geology from the University of Dhaka and another Master degree in Development Economics from Japan as JDS Fellow.
