Mr. Monsur obtained his Honors and Masters in Statistics from the Chittagong University. Subsequently he did his M. Sc. in Development Economics from the University of Birmingham, UK. Mr. Monsur attended a number of training programs in IMF-Singapore Regional Training Institute, Singapore and IMF Training Institute, Washington D.C. U.S.A. His area of specialization is Macroeconomic analysis, projections, and time series modeling and forecasting. He is familiar with the econometric software: E-Views, PcGive and STATA.
