Dr. Altaf-Ul-Alam is currently working in Finance Division as an Additional Secretary. He holds a BSc (Honours) and MSc degree in Economics from Jahangirnagar University, Dhaka. He has a Master Degree in International and Development Economics from the Australian National University and a PhD in economics from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He has a long experience working in the Finance Division in the Macroeconomic and Budget wing. He attended several foreign trainings conducted by the IMF and other renowned organizations.
