Dr. Asif Iqbal, a member of the 29th BCS (Administration), is currently serving as a Deputy Secretary. Throughout his career, he has held various field-level positions, including Assistant Commissioner, AC (Land), and UNO. He completed his BSS (Honours) and MSS in Economics from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka. He also earned an MSc in Economics from Queen Mary University of London, UK. Asif is currently pursuing a PhD in Economics at the University of Liverpool, UK, and is awaiting his thesis defense. His research focuses on Monetary Economics and Macroeconomic Modelling.
